Land mine detonates during IDF work on border fence; officer in serious condition. An IDF officer in her twenties was injured Wednesday afternoon after a land mine detonated in the Nahal Sa'ar area in the Golan Heights. A preliminary investigation shows that the mine had been uncovered as the IDF worked on the border fence between Israel and Syria.
