Senior Researcher Brad Myers Comments,
The Revolutionary Guard of the ayatollahs is taking
unprecedented steps to ensure its survival, driven by fear of a widespread
popular uprising among the Iranian people who could exploit ongoing fighting to
seize control of military assets and weapons.
