Of the 16 climate indicators analyzed, seven showed
record extremes.
The seventh edition of an annual report analyzing Earth’s “planetary vital signs” indicates that Earth systems are rapidly destabilizing, some at an accelerating rate.
...The rate of global warming is accelerating, according to the report, and has roughly doubled from about 0.19°C (0.34°F) per decade from 1970-2010 to about 0.36°C (0.65°F) per decade from 2010 to present day. Ocean heat content is increasing at an accelerating rate as well. (Read More)

Senior Researcher Brad Myers Comments,
As Bible-believing Christians watching the many signs of
the end times converging, are we surprised that a new report released in
October 2026 states that "Earth's 'planetary vital signs' indicate that
Earth systems are rapidly destabilizing, some at an accelerating rate?"
Does this have anything to do with the last days?
The Bible tells us in Matthew 24:6–8 that what we are seeing today is merely the beginning of a time of unprecedented trouble coming in the future for the inhabitants of the Earth.
Many people all over the world are extremely concerned and worried about the future of our planet as they witness catastrophic events taking place, especially over the last three to six years. They are particularly anxious about accelerating "global warming."
Could the Lord be trying to slowly wake people up and get the world’s attention regarding their need to believe in Him (John 3:16) NOW, before He brings His wrath (Revelation 16:1) and scorches the people of the Earth with intense heat, as described in Revelation 16:8–9, because they refused to repent and give Him glory?
"Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given power to scorch the people with fire. And the people were scorched by intense heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had authority over these plagues. Yet they did not repent and give Him glory." ( BSB)
