Senior Iranian leaders publicly acknowledge ongoing direct communication with Hezbollah commanders on the front lines, including operational guidance. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, speaker of Iran's parliament, publicly acknowledged in a speech that Tehran maintains its commitment to Hezbollah and seeks to maintain the upper hand on the Lebanese front. In his remarks, he revealed the extent of Iran's direct involvement in directing attacks from Lebanon toward Israel.
Ghalibaf stated: "I am in direct contact with Hezbollah, including personal conversations with commanders and fighters on the front lines. I know each young man on the firing line personally. They will not break the line of resistance." The Iranian official's comments came amid reports of intensive Israeli strikes on the Ali Taher area, where numerous Hezbollah operatives are reportedly entrenched in what has been described as a strategic underground complex belonging to the terrorist organization.
