An Egyptian source told the Al-Kahira Al-Akhbariyachannel that preparations are underway to open discussions for practical conditions to carry out a hostage deal.

The source added that an initiative to convene a "comprehensive Palestinan dialogue" for the future of Gaza is being considered.
