IAF strikes terrorists planting explosives in northern Gaza

The Israeli Air Force attacked several terrorists attempting to plant a bomb near IDF troops in northern Gaza on Sunday. A day earlier, an IAF craft struck several Palestinian suspects who had collected a drone flown from Israeli territory into the southern Gaza Strip overnight. The drone was tracked throughout its flight, the military said.

The IDF confirmed to JNS on Sunday that the Israel Police is investigating a drone launch from Israel to Gaza. The probe is exploring potential links to drug smuggling or arms transfers, but no conclusions have been reached.

On Thursday, an IAF craft attacked a group of Palestinian terrorists in the northern Gaza Strip who had planted an explosive device near troops. On Tuesday, Israeli forces fired on an individual in southern Gaza who had approached them, posing an immediate threat. The previous day, IDF troops fired on a motorboat off the southern Gaza coast near Khan Yunis after it failed to heed warning shots. (Read More)
