Coalition officials called for the military operation in Jenin to be continued and intensified following the terrorist ramming attack in Tel Aviv Tuesday afternoon.
Finance Minister Bezalel Smortich said: “Our enemies want to hurt us in Tel Aviv, in Eli, and everywhere in the Land of Israel, and against them we need to show unity and determination, in Tel Aviv, in Eli, and everywhere in the Land of Israel.”
“Our heroic soldiers are working even at this time to hit the terrorists and their emissaries in Jenin and we pray for their safety and success. The Israel Defense Forces and security forces will lay their hands on every one of those who wish us harm," Smotrich added.
Religious Zionism party MK Zvi Sukkot stated: "We are now seeing the price of the terrible incitement of the Palestinian Authority and its metastases in the State of Israel on the streets of Tel Aviv. The operation in Jenin is completely justified and we need to continue to fight with all our might against terrorism and the incitement that causes terrorism. Those who incite terrorism should pay a very heavy price."
Likud MK Danny Danon said that "the wave of terrorism requires us to increase the activity against the terrorists as our soldiers are currently doing in Jenin. The political-security cabinet must immediately decide on decisive actions against wherever threats emanate. Only root treatment and crushing the terrorist infrastructure will stop the terrible wave of attacks."
