Rocket barrage fired from Gaza

At least 15 rockets were fired from the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip at southern Israel in a three-minute period this afternoon (Tuesday).

The rockets activated the red alert sirens in many communities in the south.

Minutes before the latest rocket attacks, the IDF issued instructions to residents in the area surrounding the Gaza Strip and in the city of Sderot to stay near a designated shelter. Three rockets had been fired at Israel from Gaza on Tuesday morning.

Terrorist organizations in Gaza vowed to make Israel pay following the death of hunger-striking Islamic Jihad terrorist Terrorist Khader Adnan in prison this morning.

Hamas sent out a notice which read: "The criminal government of the occupation will pay the price for the elimination of Adnan and its refusal to release him. There is no option other than to persecute it for its crimes."

Hamas spokesman Khazam Qassam told Hamas Radio, "Adnan was executed in cold blood. The Palestinian nation has accustomed us so that a crime like this will not pass without a response which will balance it out." READ MORE
