Ben Gvir to police officers: Death penalty for terrorists law is moral and logical

National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir participated on Sunday in the conclusion of a seminar involving all the emergency agencies, as part of a week in which emergency situations are being practiced.

He began his remarks by commenting on the terrorist attack in Huwara, in which two brothers, Hillel Menachem Yaniv and Yagel Yaakov Yaniv, were murdered.

"Today we once again witnessed a murderous attack that claimed the lives of innocent victims - the brothers Hillel Menachem Yaniv and Yagel Yaakov Yaniv, may their memory be a blessing. At the beginning of my remarks, I wish to send my condolences to the family and wish to embrace the citizens of Israel. There is nothing more symbolic that precisely on such a day, the Ministerial Committee approved our law, of Otzma Yehudit, the death penalty for terrorists. According to this law, those murderers will not see the light of day. This law is a correct, moral, proper and necessary in order to fight terrorism," he said. READ MORE
