Did Assad's WMD Attack Cross Trump's Red Line?

In August 26, 2013 Israelis scrambled to get gas masks for fear that Syrian President Assad would use chemical weapons against Israeli civilians. This panic was driven by the use of chemical weapons upon Syrian civilians just days before on August 21, 2013.

This WMD attack upon Syrian civilians crossed the imaginary red line that President Obama had drawn in 2012. Obama's response was to allow Russian President Vladimir Putin to come to his rescue to eliminate Syria's chemical weapons arsenal. At a summit on September 6, 2013, Obama and Putin discussed putting the Syrian WMD matter under international control. This allowed Russia to enter into the Middle East theater.

However, instead of eliminating the problem, Putin aligned with Iran, Syria and Hezbollah to help President Assad defeat his enemies and stay in power.

Then, in April of 2017, Assad utilized his chemical weapons again on his enemies, which prompted President Donald Trump to launch 59 Tomahawk Missiles into Syria to destroy a chemical weapons site.

Only a year later, on April 7, 2018, Syrian President Assad used his WMD's again on his enemies. This attack came on the heels of President Trump's announcement of a US planned troop withdrawal from Syria.

What will Trump do next? Will Israelis panic again and purchase more gas masks? Senator Lindsey Graham says, "This is a defining moment for President Trump."

On April 8, 2018, President Trump tweeted the following:

"Many dead, including women and children, in mindless CHEMICAL attack in Syria. Area of atrocity is in lockdown and encircled by Syrian Army, making it completely inaccessible to outside world. President Putin, Russia and Iran are responsible for backing Animal Assad. Big price..."

When asked about America's planned withdrawal from Syria, Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman answered, "Trump didn't ask me." Concerning the Syrian, Hebollah and Hamas military threats around Israel's borders, Liberman went on to say, "I always operate on the assumption that at the end of the day, Israel has to deal alone with both the northern threat and the southern threat.

On this 70-year anniversary, things are heating up in the Middle East. Could the stage be set for an epic war? Will Psalm 83, the concluding Arab-Israeli war happen? Could Isaiah 17:1 find fulfillment, which predicts the utter destruction of Damascus? Or, what about the nuclear disaster on the west coast of Iran that is predicted in Jeremiah's prophecy of Elam, (Jeremiah
49:34-39)?
