Presidential Warning Issued: Trump Declares Talks Are Ongoing And Offers Iran "One Last Chance"

U.S. President Donald Trump
announced in the Oval Office that negotiations with Iran are actively occurring, warning that Tehran has one final opportunity to reach a deal before military action resumes. U.S. President Donald Trump declared on Monday evening during an executive order signing in the Oval Office that active negotiations with Iran are underway despite official denials from Tehran. The President stated that the ongoing war with Iran is progressing effectively, while emphasizing that Washington is offering Iranian leadership a final window to conclude an agreement.

Speaking to reporters at the White House, President Trump outlined the immediate timeline for diplomatic efforts regarding regional maritime security. "The talks are happening right at this moment," Trump stated during the Oval Office briefing. "We want to give Iran one last chance before we chop their head off, I hope they come to their senses." President Trump noted that clarity on the diplomatic track would emerge rapidly as negotiations focus on critical international shipping lanes.

"We will know today or tomorrow where this is going. It is not that complicated. We are talking about opening Hormuz as early as tomorrow," Trump added, addressing Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and telling him, "You are doing a fantastic job." The President revealed that American forces were previously prepared to conduct an extensive military campaign against Iranian targets prior to diplomatic interventions.

"We were going to hit them very hard, harder than any strike since World War 2, several leaders begged us not to hit them, especially the Iranians who said they want to talk," Trump explained to gathered journalists. Addressing statements published on Truth Social earlier in the day, President Trump directly criticized public declarations issued by Iranian representatives regarding bilateral contacts. "The Iranian leadership is two faced beyond belief! They requested a meeting, some would say 'begging,' and then say openly and proudly that they are not conducting any negotiations, and deal only with Oman," Trump wrote. (Read More)
