IDF Spokesperson: 'We seized over 700 RPGs and killed many terrorists'

IDF Spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said on Wednesday, during his nightly press briefing, that Hamas is getting hit harder by the day.

"The ground forces are operating deep in Gaza City. Hamas has lost control over the north of the Gaza Strip and is busy surviving," Hagari noted.

"We killed, and we will continue to kill many terrorists. We also seized many weapons, including over 700 RPG grenade launchers," he added.

He said that approximately 50,000 Gazan civilians left the north today and that tomorrow, the IDF will allow safe passage for civilians to the southern Gaza Strip so they can leave the centers of conflict in the north.

When asked about a humanitarian ceasefire, Hagari answered: "There is no ceasefire. What is there? There are humanitarian lulls for set times which allow the population to get ready, go south safely, and we want that to happen."

Hagari updated that the number of families who were notified that their loved ones were taken hostage has dropped and now stands at 239.
