Iran’s protests expose the widening chasm between the regime and its people - opinion

Iran’s protests reveal a deepening divide between the Iranian people and a regime facing growing demands for political change.

Exactly on the seventh of Dey 1404 (December 28 2025), a new wave of nationwide strikes and protests began against the regime of the Islamic caliphate of Velayat-e Faqih, or the religious dictatorship of the Shi’ite mullahs in Iran. People trapped in poverty, inflation, and religious despotism rose up across Iran against the republic of evil and wickedness.

Following the call of the crown prince, Reza Pahlavi, in more than 300 cities and villages across the country’s 31 provinces, millions of people poured into the streets. The credibility, influence, and acceptance of the prince showed that he is the only alternative leader accepted by the Iranian nation.

...If there is a serious and genuine will, the groundwork for regime change should be prepared with the help of Israel. And dialogue should take place with the sole alternative of the Iranian nation, Pahlavi. (Read More)

Senior Researcher Brad Myers Comments,

Do you find it intriguing that if a regime change in Iran was indeed foretold in Jeremiah 49:35–38. The Jerusalem Post is reporting that "the groundwork for regime change should be prepared with the help of Israel."

Could this help explain why, in Ezekiel 38, the people of Israel seem unconcerned about an Iranian regime attacking them with long-range ballistic missiles?

Look what it says in Ezekiel 38:14-15:

"Therefore, son of man, prophesy against Gog. Give him this message from the Sovereign LORD: When my PEOPLE ARE LIVING IN PEACE in their land, then you will rouse yourself. You will come from your homeland in the distant north with your vast cavalry and your mighty army, and you will attack my people Israel, covering their land like a cloud."(NLT, emphasis added)

How can the people of Israel live in peace and security if an Iranian regime still possesses both the will and the capability to attack them with long-range ballistic missiles?

Is it conceivable that during the period of peace described in Ezekiel 38, Iran could be under a  pro-Western government? Furthermore, could a coalition of jihadists operating from within Iran join the armies in Ezekiel 38:1–6 to launch a surprise attack on Israel?
