IDF destroys Hamas equipment, dismantles infrastructure along Gaza’s Yellow Line in eastern Rafah

The operation was conducted by the 143rd Gaza Division of the Golani Brigade, which located weapons and surveillance equipment, including AK-47 rifles, RPG rockets, and cameras used by Hamas.

The IDF operated to dismantle terrorist infrastructure along Gaza's Yellow Line in eastern Rafah over the course of the last week, during which troops killed terrorists who posed threats, and located weapons, missiles, and filming equipment used by Hamas operatives, the military stated on Monday. “The troops located weapons and surveillance equipment, including AK-47 rifles, RPG rockets, and cameras used by Hamas terrorists against IDF troops operating in the area,” the IDF noted.

The operation was conducted by the 143rd Gaza Division of the Golani Brigade, which also worked to dismantle tunnels and kill dozens of terrorists who posed threats to Israeli troops, the military added.
"IDF troops under the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat," the IDF concluded.

The IDF statement follows its killing of senior Hamas commander Ra'ad Sa'ad on Saturday, in what represents the elimination of one of the most senior terrorists within the Izzadin al-Qassam Brigades since the beginning of the ceasefire. The Israeli military, which did not name the target initially, said Sa'ad had recently been involved in attempts to restore and produce weapons for Hamas.
