Ukrainian grain exports exceeded 2.7 mln tons

As of August 13, in the MY 2025/26, Ukraine exported 2 million 721 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, which is 2 million 808 thousand tons or 2.0 times less than last year. This was reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

Wheat exports amounted to 1 million 422 thousand tons, which is 1 million 186 thousand tons or 1.8 times less than last year. Barley exports amounted to 462 thousand tons, rye has not been exported abroad yet.

Ukrainian corn exports amounted to 827 thousand tons, which is 1 million 234 thousand tons or 2.4 times less than last year. In addition, 5.6 thousand tons of flour (or 7.5 thousand tons in terms of grain) were sent abroad, which is 1.7 thousand tons or 1.3 times less than last year.    (Ed note: In the past, it has been said that Ukraine was the 'bread basket' of Europe and the continent of Africa. With Russia now controlling half of Ukraines seaports, how will they get their grain to port? We need to watch and see how our President handles that problem.)  (Source)
