IAF jets pound Hezbollah in Dahiyeh, kill cmdr. Ahmad Sabhi Hazima in Tyre

Israel Air Force jets carried out a series of strikes on Hezbollah infrastructure in Beirut's southern suburbs as well as in southern Lebanon, the military said on Tuesday. In one of the strikes the military reported on, a Hezbollah commander was killed.

Based on precise intelligence information, jets struck six Hezbollah terror targets in the Dahiyeh in Lebanon's capital, targeting, among others, the terror group's coast-to-sea missile unit and command centers.


"Hezbollah deliberately embedded its command centers within civilian areas, using the Lebanese civilian population as a human shield," the military's statement read, adding it had taken precautions to minimize harming civilians, including using aerial surveillance and issuing evacuation warnings.  (Read More)
