Iran unveils new UAV with air to air missiles

The Iranian army unveiled at a ceremony held in Tehran a new UAV named "Karrar", which it said is equipped with air-to-air missiles and will enhance the air defense capabilities of the Islamic Republic.

During the ceremony, the Karrar drone was displayed next to posters that read "Death to Israel."

Chief Commander of the Iranian Army Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi said that the Karra drone represented “another stage in the upgrading of the power of the Islamic Republic of Iran Air Defense Force.”

“Today, the Iranian army meets its own needs through the cooperation of its scientists with the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, and knowledge-based cores. This is because strengthening the defense power across land, sea and air borders is an inseparable principle of the army,” he said.

“Enemies oppose Iran's power," he added. "Experience has proven that our power drives the enemy to despair.”
