Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was released from Sheba Medical Center in central Israel after being hospitalized due to dehydration.
The hospital clarified that the Prime Minister's heart is in order, without any findings.
In addition, the medical team decided to carry out a series of comprehensive and routine tests that are carried out in full conciseness, including an electronic heart examination, which all returned normal.
The hospital emphasized that "at no point was an abnormal heart rate found."
A subcutaneous Holter was implanted in the Prime Minister's chest to allow the medical team to continue to monitor him.
In a joint message, the Prime Minister's Office and Sheba Medical Center stated that Netanyahu was vacationing at the Sea of Galilee during the hot hours and on Saturday complained about light dizziness. "He received initial medical care from a paramedic in the Shin Bet Personal Protection Unit and was taken to the hospital."
Later, he published a video clip in which he explained, "Yesterday I went to the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) with my wife - in the sun, with no hat, with no water. Not a good idea."
He clarified that he felt good and thanked everyone for their concern. Turning to the public, he added, "We are having a heat wave in this country. I ask you: Spend less time in the sun, drink more water, and may we all have a good week."
