Several members of the Israeli delegation accompanying President Isaac Herzog on his trip to the United States were unable to participate in the president's meeting with US President Joe Biden after they tested positive for COVID-19.
The president's brother, Israeli Ambassador to the US Michael Herzog, received "borderline" results and therefore decided to abstain from the meeting.
Itamar Eichner reported in Yediot Achronot that an Israeli Government Press Office photographer tested positive for the virus, and an American photographer replaced him and documented the meeting between the two presidents.
