During a demonstration by Hezbollah terrorists at the Israel-Lebanon border this afternoon (Wednesday), several of the terrorists attempted to damage the fence.
IDF forces used non-lethal means to force the terrorists away from the fence.
The IDF stated: "Earlier today (Wednesday), a number of suspects approached the northern security fence with Lebanon and attempted to sabotage the security fence in the area. IDF soldiers immediately spotted the suspects and used means to distance them. The identity of the suspects is unknown. The IDF will continue to prevent any attempt to violate Israeli sovereignty and damage to the security fence."
In addition, Hezbollah terrorists caused a fire on the Lebanese side of the border across from the Israeli town of Metula. The fire caused several mines to explode on the Lebanese side of the border. WATCH
