Survey: Less than half of Israelis optimistic about security

A survey conducted by the Israel Democracy Institute shows that 43% of Israelis are optimistic about the future of Israel's security. This is a significant increase from the survey published last month in which only 34% expressed optimism on the subject.

The public is equally divided on the subject of the government finishing its term: 44% believe it will, and 43.5% do not.

Public confidence in the Knesset almost doubled (26%) compared to last year with the fall of the Bennett-Lapid government (14%). A significant difference was recorded between the percentage of those who trust the Knesset among the voters of the coalition parties (39%) and the voters of the opposition parties (16%). During the tenure of the Bennet-Lapid government, the opposite was true. The rate of trust in the government also increased from 21% in June 2021 to 29% today. READ MORE
