An Iranian official said on Tuesday that an attack on his country’s nuclear facilities would mean a widespread war that Israel would bear responsibility for.
The official, who spoke to Al Jazeera and was quoted by Ynet, said Israeli threats would not change the course of things.
The official was commenting to comments made earlier by IDF Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi, who spoke at the annual Herzliya Conference at Reichman University and said, "There are negative developments that could lead to action against Iran and Israel has the capabilities to do so if needed. "
"Iran has advanced in uranium enrichment like never before. Without going into details. We have the capabilities, and it is significant and important.
