The IDF on Friday night responded to four rockets which were fired by terrorists in Gaza towards Israel.
Following sirens which sounded in the city of Ashkelon and in the area surrounding Gaza, two launches were identified: One of the rockets was intercepted by the IDF Aerial Defense Array. The second rocket fell in an open area.
Later, two more rockets were fired, and sirens sounded in the town of Ahuzam. Both of those two projectiles fell in open areas, and in accordance with standard policy and the lack of need, no interception was carried out, the IDF said.
In response to the attacks from Gaza on Israeli territory, the IDF targeted Hamas weapons manufacturing sites in Gaza. WATCH
