Ayoob Entezari, who held a PhD in aerospace engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, died on Tuesday, the reports said.
He was reportedly employed at a research and development center in the city of Yazd, where he worked on developing missiles and drones.
Some reports said Entezari died of food poisoning.
The reports came a day after Iran announced the death of another colonel from the elite Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the second in two weeks from the unit which oversees Iran’s military operations abroad. READ MORE
