'DON'T SLEEP EASY' US fires off new threat to Kim Jong-un over nuclear weapons after North Korea chillingly warns Donald Trump he’s due a ‘gift package’

NORTH Korea has declared Donald Trump was sitting on the “knife edge of life and death” and that he should brace himself for “gift packages”.
But meanwhile one of US President Trump’s aids has warned crackpot Kim Jong-un to “not sleep easily at night” as the Pentagon plans for war.
The North Korean threat was made in the state-run newspaper Rodong Sinmu.
An editorial said: “Every minute and every second, the new reality that US mainland is on the knife’s edge of life and death is forcing US administration to wave a white flag and fundamentally change her North Korea policy.
“If the US still refuses to accept such a realistic demand and doggedly pursue hostile policy against North Korea in order to save face, she will receive unexpected ‘gift packages’ which we will continue to send.”
It is believed the so-called “gift packages” are nuclear missiles.
It comes after North Korea confirmed on Saturday it had conducted another successful test of an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) that it alleged had proved its ability to strike America’s mainland with nuclear weapons.
But Trump’s top aid, national security adviser H.R. McMaster hit back and said Kim Jong-un should not be sleeping so easy.
He told MSNBC He has the whole world against him, right? He’s isolated. He’s isolated on this.”
Meanwhile it emerged this week that the Pentagon believes North Korea may be about to launch a ballistic missile from a submarine after one of its underwater vessels was detected in international waters behaving in a suspect manner.
If successful it would give the hermit state the ability to sail a sub close to the US before launching its nuke rocket therefore drastically narrowing the range.
US defence officials have revealed so called “ejection tests” – which experiment with ways of propelling a missile from under the sea.
These have been carried out in the past few days and could suggest the regime is forging ahead with its sub programme.
