Pence: The day will come when Trump moves the embassy

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence vowed on Monday night that President Donald Trump’s administration will always stand by Israel.

“Just last month, President Trump made a historic visit to Israel - one of the very first countries our President has visited,” Pence told the Christians United for Israel (CUFI) summit in Washington.

“Standing in Jerusalem, in that ancient and holy city, our President declared for all the world to hear that he and all our administration ‘will always stand with Israel,’” he added.

“President Trump and I stand with Israel for the same reason every freedom-loving American stands with Israel. Because her cause is our cause, her values are our values, her fight is our fight,” the Vice President stressed.

"I promise you the day will come when President Donald Trump moves the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. It is not a question of if, it is only when,” he promised.
Pence also referred to Iran’s nuclear drive, and told the gathering, “Under President Trump, America will continue to stand strong in the face of the leading state sponsor of terrorism. President Trump has put Iran on notice. America will no longer tolerate Iran’s efforts to destabilize the region and jeopardize Israel’s security.”

“Let me be clear on this point: Under President Donald Trump, the United States of America will not allow Iran to develop a usable nuclear weapon. This is our solemn promise to the American people, to the people of Israel and to the world,” Pence declared.
