Canada Immigration Website Crashes on Election Night

A web site explaining to foreigners how to move to Canada crashed on Tuesday night, as it became increasingly clear that Republican Donald Trump would win the 2016 presidential election in the United States.

The website with instructions on how to become a Canadian citizen crashed Tuesday night as Donald Trump appeared to close in on a victory.

Visitors were met with a long wait and eventually an error message telling viewers that there was a problem with the server.
