Prophetic Reflections: COVID-19 and Matthew 24:7 and more

Below are some prophecy questions for you to consider. Bill Salus provides his answers to each of these questions in red font

1. Are we headed for a revival like David Wilkerson predicted in 1986, or the global order with its cashless economy and totalitarian dictator called, the Antichrist, i.e. the charismatic leader who thinks he’s god?

Bill: I'm concerned that this Coronavirus plague is propelling us toward the prophesied one world order that will ultimately be led by the Antichrist. The Church could still be here to watch it manifest in its formative stages, but will be Raptured into heaven prior to the start of the seven-year Tribulation Period.

"For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows." (Matthew 24:7-8)

2. Does the Coronavirus qualify under the category of pestilences in Matthew 24:7-8 as just the beginning of sorrows?                                    

Bill: Yes…I am concerned this is the case...

“Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations  for My name’s sake." (Matthew 24:9) 

3. Does that mean the Tribulation of Matthew 24:9 is around the corner?      Bill: Yes, likely sooner that we think... So, Church get Rapture Ready.                                                                                                               
4. What is it about the False covenant that is so abhorrent to God that He pours out His wrath on humanity during Daniel’s 70^th week? Is it the content of the covenant or the parties involved in the covenant, or both?

Bill: I believe it's both for the reasons below:

1. The covenant facilitates the building of the Temple and the reinstatement of the sacrifices and offerings that blatantly ignore Christ as the sacrificial Lamb of God,
2. It enables unrestricted travel for the Harlot Gentiles to trample over Jerusalem for the first 3 ½ years of the Trib-period as per Revelation 11:2, 
3. The parties are both in error. Signatory #1, The Jews reject Jesus and Signatory #2, the Harlot is drunk with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus, and signatory #1 turns a blind eye to this Christian slaughter committed by signatory #2.

5. If the covenant is all about resolving the Arab-Israeli covenant:

1. Is it scriptural or current event driven?
2. Is brokering a Mideast peace deal abhorrent enough to provoke God’s wrath to be poured out? 

Bill:

1. This thinking is current event driven and not biblically supported.
2. A politically brokered Mideast Peace deal does not appear to be abhorrent enough to trigger the wrath of God. If it was, why didn’t God pour out his wrath when Carter brokered peace between Egypt and Israel in 1979, or Clinton with Jordan and Israel in 1994?

Some Closing thoughts: REMEMBER THAT THIS IS DAY 30 SINCE TRUMP DECLARED THE CORONAVIRUS A PANDEMIC ON 3/13/20. PRESENTLY, DAY 30 IS DAY OVER FOR SOME YOUNG UNEMPLOYED DAD AND MOM WITH AN INFANT(S) AND NO PARENTAL SUPPORT SYSTEM. JUST A FEW MONTHS AGO THEY HAD HIGH HOPES, BUT NOW THEY ARE IN DESPAIR. THIS SCENARIO IS HAPPENING IN THE USA AND AROUND THE GLOBE.
