Refugee suicide-bomber in Germany was set to be deported

The 27 year-old Syrian refugee who committed a suicide attack in Ansbach, Germany, was due to be deported.

German interior ministry spokeman announced at a press conference: "Syrians cannot at the moment be deported to Syria, but that doesn't mean that Syrians overall cannot be deported."
"The Syrian in Ansbach was facing deportation to Bulgaria," he explained.

The Ansbach attack was the latest of a series in Germany. Most of the attacks have possible ties to Middle East terrorism, and many think that Syrian immigration should be curbed as a result.

At the same press conference, a spokeswoman for the German government said that although the government is weighing its options, no changes would yet be made to Germany's refugee policy.

"The acts of the last days and weeks do not show a uniform picture," decided Ulrike Demmer. "Most terrorists who carried out attacks in Europe over the last months were not refugees."
